  A patriotic drama depicting the courage, confidence and gallantry of a young Indian Queen who fought for her motherland and self respect.Young widow Rani Luxmi Bai of Jhansi had to face the wrath of the Britishers when she protested against the usurpation of her kingdom by the East India Company. She fought with courage and velour against General Sir Hugh Rose but had to lose the battle due to treachery. She again fought at Kalpi and Gwalior but was killed while fighting. Sir Hugh Rose called her the bravest and best military leader he ever saw.
